Speaker Cleaner Privacy Policy

How Speaker Cleaner handles local audio playback, technical request data, browser preferences, and privacy choices.

Last updated: 2026-08-27

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the public Speaker Cleaner website and its browser-based speaker-cleaning tool (together, the Site). It explains what the Site does on your device, what limited information may be processed when you visit, and the choices available to you.

You do not need an account to use the public cleaner. This policy does not cover third-party websites or services linked from the Site.

Local Audio Playback and Device Access

  • The cleaning audio files are delivered as ordinary Site assets and played by the audio controls in your browser.
  • The cleaner does not request access to your microphone and does not record, capture, inspect, or analyze audio from your device.
  • The cleaner does not upload your photos, files, contacts, media library, or other device content.
  • Your selected mode, playback position, and volume are held temporarily in the page while you use the tool. The public cleaner does not create a playback history or send those controls to a user account.
  • The Site cannot inspect your speaker hardware, determine whether liquid remains inside your device, or perform a physical repair.

Playing an audio file still requires your browser to request that file from the Site, just as it requests the page, styles, scripts, and images. Standard network information may therefore be processed as described below.

Information That May Be Processed

Standard request and security data

When you request the Site or an audio asset, the hosting, content-delivery, or security provider may process standard technical data such as:

  • IP address and approximate network location;
  • browser, device type, and operating system;
  • requested URL, referring page, date, time, and response status; and
  • security, error, and abuse-prevention events.

This information is used to deliver and secure the Site, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse. It is not audio captured from your speaker or microphone.

Browser preferences

If you change the Site language, a first-party functional preference may be stored in your browser so the Site can remember your choice. The cleaner does not use browser storage to keep a history of cleaning cycles.

Analytics and Advertising

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visits, page views, referral sources, device and browser categories, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions that Google Analytics collects automatically. The Site also includes Google AdSense account verification and advertising technology. The public cleaner does not send microphone audio, device files, cleaning-mode selections, playback position, or volume settings to these services.

Google Analytics and the AdSense runtime are treated as optional. Their third-party scripts remain blocked until you select Allow optional in the privacy notice. If you select Decline optional, those scripts are not loaded and no data is sent to Google by them. Advertising personalization signals are disabled in the Site's Google tag configuration.

How Information Is Used

Limited information described in this policy may be used to:

  • deliver the page and requested audio files;
  • remember your selected language;
  • maintain compatibility, reliability, and security;
  • investigate errors, abuse, or attacks;
  • understand aggregate Site usage after consent;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use the cleaner to build an advertising profile about you.

Cookies and Browser Storage

The Site may use a first-party language preference that is necessary to provide the language you selected. It also stores your optional Google-services choice in local storage so the Site can respect that decision on later visits. If you allow optional services, Google may set analytics or advertising cookies. You can reopen Privacy choices from the Site footer or remove browser cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking or removing this data may reset your language and privacy choices but should not prevent the core audio tool from working.

Sharing and Service Providers

Information may be disclosed only:

  • to hosting, content-delivery, and security providers that process requests needed to operate the Site;
  • to Google for consented analytics and advertising processing;
  • when required by law, court order, or a valid governmental request; or
  • when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Site, or the rights and safety of others.

Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. The Site does not authorize them to collect microphone audio or device files through the cleaner.

Retention

  • Playback controls remain in page memory only for the current visit.
  • A language preference remains on your device until it expires or you remove it.
  • Your optional Google-services choice remains in local storage until you change it or remove Site data.
  • Google retains consented analytics and advertising data according to the retention settings and policies that apply to those services.
  • Hosting and security logs, if retained, are kept only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations, subject to the production provider's configuration.

Legal Bases

Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction apply, processing is based on the need to provide the Site you requested, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, compliance with legal obligations, or consent for optional Google Analytics and advertising processing. You may withdraw consent at any time through Privacy choices in the Site footer, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be limited by law, and standard security logs may not always be reasonably linkable to you without additional information.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and the cleaner is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information processed for the Site. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

International Processing

Hosting and security providers may process request data in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards should be used for international transfers.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to device manufacturers or other external resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Speaker Cleaner is not responsible for their content or data handling.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the Site, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site when reasonably required.
